What is the purpose of the Caucus?
The purpose of the Black Caucus is to support and advocate for the needs of Black faculty, staff, and students and to support their growth and development.
Who can join the Caucus?
Membership is open to faculty and staff who share the mission of the Caucus. Honorary membership is available to graduate students and to community members beyond VT. We receive no operating funds from the university.
How do I stay updated on events?
Be sure to join our listserv to be notified about community events. You can also check the EVENTS page on our website.
How can I get involved?
Most of our work is organized by WORK GROUPS. Visit that page on our website to sign up. Also, attend our meetings to learn more about how you can engage with us.
